The Michael Jackson-centered Broadway musical, “MJ,” has set a new opening night for April 15, 2021.

The show will star Tony and Grammy-nominee Ephraim Sykes as Jackson, with a book by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and a score that will draw from Jackson’s massive catalog.

“MJ,” which is approved by The Michael Jackson Estate, was originally scheduled to begin previews at the Neil Simon Theatre on July 6; those will now commence March 8.

On Tuesday, the Broadway League announced that the famed stretch of theaters would remain closed through the summer because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Those who purchased tickets to the initial dates will automatically receive a refund.
