Before his death, country music legend Merle Haggard was slated to perform with Willie Nelson this summer at Chastain Park Amphitheatre.

Now, event organizers have scheduled a tribute performance in place of his set.

Kris Kristofferson and The Strangers featuring Merle's sons, Ben and Noel Haggarad, will honor the late singer during the May 20 show.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at livenation.com.

Merle Haggard died on his 79th birthday on April 6.
