Maxwell will join with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra for fall concert

Maxwell is bringing strings to his sounds at a handful of shows in September.

“A Night at the Symphony” will play Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park on Sept. 27. Maxwell will perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and re-arrange his songs to collaborate with the classical ensemble.

The only other dates on his first-ever symphonic tour are Sept. 18-20 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where he will play with the National Symphony Orchestra.

Tickets to Maxwell’s Atlanta stop are $45-$165 and on sale now via www.ticketmaster.com and the Woodruff Arts Center box office.
