In the two decades since Billboard created its Adult Pop Songs chart, Maroon 5 has landed the most appearances.

According to Billboard , the band earned 11 No. 1 singles and 19 Top 10s, as well as 22 visits to the chart, which measures songs' weekly plays on Adult Top 40 or Hot AC radio in the U.S.

Maroon five first appeared on the chart on April 5, 2003 with “Harder to Breathe,” followed the next year with “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved.”

The current chart-ruler is Justin Bieber with "Love Yourself."

The Adam Levine-fronted band spent a record 63 weeks at the top of the chart, followed by Matchbox Twenty at 54.

The complementary Adult Pop Songs chart has crowned “Smooth” by Santana featuring Rob Thomas as its top achiever.

The rest of the list is a study in colorless pop-rock: Train (“Drops of Jupiter”), The Calling (“Wherever You Will Go”), The Fray (“How to Save a Life”) and OneRepublic (“Counting Stars”) round out the Top 5, with Lifehouse, Matchbox Twenty and Sister Hazel appearing a few notches down.
