Lil Yachty is transitioning his acting skills from commercials to the movies – albeit one for MTV.

The 21-year-old Atlanta rapper will star in “How High 2,” which began production in Atlanta today.

According to Variety, Lil Yachty will play "Roger," the younger brother of one of the lead characters in the original "How High," the 2001 stoner laugher starring Method Man and Redman. MTV summarizes the movie as Roger and his friend going on "a magical hash-fueled journey to fund their on-demand munchies delivery start-up."
The movie will air on MTV in 2019.

Yachty has previous acting experience on TV Land’s George Lopez series, “Lopez” (he played himself), as well as in numerous commercials, including the Chef Boyardee duet with Donny Osmond (“Start the Par-dee”), a Target spot with Carly Rae Jepsen and a Sprite commercial featuring LeBron James.

His most recent musical endeavor was "Lil Boat 2," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart in March. He heads out on the "Disrespect Tour" in October.
