Lil Yachty will drop his next album, "Lil Boat 2," on March 9.

In announcing his new release, the 20-year-old Atlanta rapper, who has vaulted to stardom the past 18 months with his brand of “bubblegum trap” music, released the cover art for the album.

In 2017, Lil Yachty’s full-length debut, “Teenage Emotions,” debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart. Also last year, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for best rap/sung collaboration (“Broccoli” with DRAM).

The self-proclaimed "King of the Youth" has been a regular presence on TV as well, sharing screen time with LeBron James in a Sprite commercial and Carly Rae Jepsen in a spot for Target.

Lil Yachty recently confirmed that a collaboration with Takeoff, from Atlanta rap royalty Migos, is "coming real soon."
