Kristian Bush will spend part of June on the road with friend and collaborator Rita Wilson.

The pair will kick off a joint tour in Atlanta June 5 at Center Stage before hitting Nashville, Washington, D.C., and other cities on the East Coast.

Wilson, of course known for her work as an actress and producer, recently released her fourth album, “Halfway to Home,” which she recorded in Nashville. Bush was among the co-writers on the album, as well as Kara DioGuardi and Liz Rose, who has earned Grammys for her songs with Taylor Swift and Little Big Town.

The multi-faceted Bush has always dabbled outside of his position as half of Sugarland. The Decatur resident is also working on a new EP, due this summer.

Reserved tickets for the Atlanta concert are $35-$50 and are available now at www.ticketmaster.com and by calling 1-800-745-3000.
