When Kraftwerk played Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in 2016, it had been 40 years since the German electro pioneers last visited Atlanta.
Fans don’t have to worry about another multi-decade lag, as the group will return to the venue at 8 p.m. July 9 as part of their 3-D concert tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Kraftwerk - Ralf Hütter, Henning Schmitz, Fritz Hilpert and Falk Grieffenhagen – frame their live shows to illustrate the contributions of both man and machine with a combination of visuals, music and performance art.
Tickets for the concert $49.50-$84 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 via www.ticketmaster.com. American Express Card Members can access a pre-sale through 9 a.m. Feb. 27.
