Jason Aldean will return home to Macon for benefit concert

The concert will benefit Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health, which serves Bibb County’s only dedicated pediatric facility in central Georgia and enhances children’s lives through care, research and education.

“Supporting these kids in Macon and their families is something that I’m really proud to be a part of,” Aldean said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to getting back to town, kicking things up a couple notches and hopefully raise a huge amount of money for the hospital so that they can continue to grow and serve my hometown community."

Tickets for the concert will go on sale at 10 a.m. June 23 via www.ticketmaster.com and www.jasonaldean.com, as well as the venue box office during normal business hours. Aldean, who recently helped honor Gregg Allman on the CMT Awards (watch below), is also the recipient of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Dubbed "Jason Aldean: Asphalt Cowboy," the display will be up through November.

The “Lights Come On” and “My Kinda Party” hitmaker is currently on tour behind his latest album, “They Don’t Know,” which became Aldean’s third album to top the Billboard 200 album chart upon its release in September. There is no Atlanta date planned for the tour.
