Iggy Azalea is postponing her “Great Escape” tour until the fall, apparently due to tour production delays.

The Aussie pop-rapper, who spent plenty of time in Atlanta under the tutelage of T.I., was slated to play Philips Arena May 19. That date has been changed to Oct. 15 at the venue.  Opening acts for the rescheduled tour will be announced shortly, replacing the previously announced Nick Jonas and Tinashé.

Tickets for the original tour date will be honored, or refunds are available at point of purchase.

Azalea has become increasingly reticent on social media lately, pulling herself off Twitter and Instagram – an odd move for a young artist with a heavily interactive fan base.

According to the tour postponement announcement, “It is extremely important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development.”
