Idina Menzel will embark on an ambitious 50-plus date worldwide tour this year, which will bring her through Atlanta this summer.

Almost exactly two years since she performed at Chastian Park Amphitheatre , the massive-voiced star of "Wicked" and "Rent" who taught us how to "Let it Go," will perform at the Fox Theatre at 8 p.m. July 22.

Tickets for the Atlanta show are $50-$155 and will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Jan. 27. Tickets will be available at the Fox box office, at www.foxtheatre.org and by calling 1-855-285-8499.

An American Express pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 18 (through 10 p.m. Jan. 26) and an artist pre-sale also kicks off at 10 a.m. Jan. 18 (visit www.idinamenzel.com/tour for details).

Menzel released her fifth solo studio album, "idina," last fall and on Jan. 21 will star as CC in a Lifetime remake of "Beaches." The show airs at 8 p.m. and will also feature Menzel's versions of songs from the "Beaches" EP ( available here ), including the classic, "Wind Beneath My Wings."
