Hear Lil Yachty, Carly Rae Jepsen and Mike Will Made-It remake 'It Takes Two' for Target ad

Grammy Sunday will be a big day for Atlanta’s Lil Yachty.

The upstart rapper factors in a nomination for “Broccoli” with D.R.A.M. (best rap/sung performance), and, during the televised ceremony, he will star with Carly Rae Jepsen and Atlanta super-producer Mike Will Made-It in a three-minute Target spot.

The ad will feature the trio romping around a Target store to a re-imagined version of the 1995 Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock dance-rap classic, “It Takes Two” (someone is getting some nice royalty checks – the song is also currently being used in promos for the new ESPN show, “SC6” ).

Roman Coppola directed the ad, while choreography was handled by Mandy Moore (no, not THAT Mandy Moore ), who is gaining recognition for her work on “La La Land.”

The updated version of “It Takes Two” will be available for streaming and downloading on Feb. 10. Here is an advance listen to a snippet:
