As expected, Harry Connick Jr. has canceled the rest of his tour, including March 22 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

The venue will also remain closed through March 31.

Connick posted a message on his Instagram alerting fans to the cancellations and noting that he and his family are "hunkered down" for the time being.

Connick's current live shows focused on the music of Cole Porter; he said in a recent interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he plans to bring last year's Broadway incarnation of the show on tour this fall.

Refunds for the Atlanta concert are available at point of purchase.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
