A tour bus carrying members of Gregg Allman’s production team crashed early this morning in Jackson County, W. Va.

Allman, who is performing tonight in Charleston, W.Va., was not on board.

According to local CBS affiliate WOWK , the driver of the tour bus was heading south on I-77 toward Charleston when he choked on his coffee, causing him to drift into the northbound lane and crash into a hillside near the highway.

Allman’s crew members - Earl McCoy (front of house audio engineer and production manager),  Timothy Wright (stage technician) and Michael Gallun (monitor engineer) – were transported to Charleston’s CAMC General Hospital with minor injuries and released shortly afterward.

The concert is expected to go on as planned Wednesday night.
