Mat Kearney is a prominent presence on Adult Top 40 radio, having scored hits with “Nothing Left to Lose,” “Closer to Love” and, most recently, “Heartbeat.”
His new album, “Just Kids,” arrived at the end of February. The 13-song collection hit No. 20 on the Billboard 200 album chart, and climbed to No. 2 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart as well.
He’s bringing the “Just Kids” tour to The Tabernacle at 8 p.m. April 3, along with buddies Judah & The Lion and Parachute.
Thanks to his record label, Universal/Republic, I have a pair of tickets to give away to the show.
