Don’t fret if you couldn’t score a ticket to the sold-out Fleetwood Mac show at Philips Arena on Dec. 17.
The band just added Atlanta to its run of encore dates slated for 2015, and will return to Philips on March 25.
The Atlanta show is one of 11 additional dates Fleetwood Mac announced Thursday morning; last month the band added more than 25 new dates to its “On With the Show” tour, the first to feature the full Mac, including Christine McVie, for the first time in 16 years.
Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 through all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com, www.livenation.com, the Live Nation app or by calling 1-800-745-3000. American Express cardholders can get a jump on purchasing tickets beginning at 10 a.m. Dec. 9 through 10 p.m. Dec. 14. Tickets are $49.50-$179.50.
In a recent interview with the AJC, a giddy Mick Fleetwood discussed how happy he and his bandmates have been during this return, largely due to the presence of Christine McVie.
"We do what we do," Fleetwood said, "but we’re doing it in a hugely gratifying way with the return of Christine. I think Chris is beside herself, so much so that it's putting a rocket under our whole psyche of what we do out there."
