[Congrats to randomly selected winner Andrew P.!]

BY MELISSA RUGGIERI

The North Carolina folk-rockers known at The Avett Brothers have played to some big crowds in Atlanta -- last year's Shaky Knees Festival, the 2012 Music Midtown -- and have also become staples at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta.

That is where they'll return for a 7:30 p.m. May 7 show with Brett Dennen opening -- and I have a pair of tickets (yes, for seats, not lawn) to give away.

Thanks to ASO Presents for their donation to Day 7 of my 12 Days of Christmas giveaway.

To enter:

You must be following me on Twitter or Facebook (please include your Twitter handle, if you have one,  in entry email).

After that, it’s pretty simple.

Email me at mruggieri@ajc.com by 6 p.m. Dec. 21. Please don't enter if you won't be able to attend and please, only one entry per email address.

You must put “Day 7” in the subject line or I will not see your email. If you type anything else in there, I guarantee your email will not be entered.

I will randomly select — and contact — a winner the evening of Dec. 21. I will also post the winning name here once I’ve received confirmation.

If you'd like to purchase tickets to the show, they're $39.50-$52.50 and available here.

Good luck!
