City Winery is projecting optimism with a slate of new shows announced among its multiple locations.

The venue/winery/restaurant has dubbed the concert series, which starts in the fall, “Open to the Future.” These are the first new dates announced for the chain – which operates an Atlanta outpost at Ponce City Market – since the coronavirus pandemic forced the closure of its locations.

The Atlanta concerts are Loose Ends (Sept. 4-5), KeKe Wyatt (Sept. 8-9) and Eric Roberson (Sept. 18-19).

Tickets to the shows will go on sale at 3 p.m. March 27 through www.citywinery.com. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to City Winery's Employee Relief Fund. 

City Winery is also offering at 20 percent gift card bonus – 15 percent of which will be donated to the employee fund. Click here for details.

In a recent interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, City Winery founder and CEO Michael Dorf talked about the strain the virus shutdowns are having on local venues and employees.
