We already knew that Demi Lovato has, in the wake of Doughnutgate, replaced Ariana Grande as the headliner for the July 11 MLB All-Star Game concert on Saturday in Cincinnati.
When you’re done shrugging about that, here is some more All-Star news – Atlanta R&B singer Ciara will handle the national anthem prior to Tuesday’s game, also at Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park.
Country singer Josh Turner will join the pre-game festivities by singing “God Bless America.”

Ciara, who crushed her Janet Jackson tribute at the BET Awards last month, found herself in other sports headlines this week when boyfriend Russell Wilson, quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, mentioned during an interview that he and Ciara are abstaining from sex until they're married.

Wilson told pastor Mike McPherson of The Rock Church in San Diego that God “spoke” to him and encouraged him to lead Ciara by “taking all that extra stuff off the table.”

Meanwhile, back to the anthem... Ciara’s performance will air at 7 p.m. July 14 on Fox.
