Beyonce releases first photo of twins Sir Carter and Rumi

Beyonce has shared something fans have clamored for the past month - an official photo and statement about her twins with husband Jay-Z.

In an early-morning Instagram post Friday, Bey offered the simple message, "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today," confirming speculation that the babies were born earlier in June than reported.

The boy and girl - whom Jay-Z referred to as a "miracle" on the new song "Kill Jay-Z" - were born prematurely and spent some extra time in an L.A. hospital.
