Newly minted double-Grammy winner Chris Stapleton leads the lineup for this year's Atlanta Braves Summer Concert Series.
The hirsute country star, who impressed at Monday’s Grammys with his participation in a tribute to B.B. King, will perform May 29, after the Braves take on the Miami Marlins.
Stapleton’s “Traveller” album and its title track earned the Kentucky musician the first two Grammys of his career, after years of writing hits for other country stars.
Upon picking up his first award on Monday, Stapleton commented, “I’ve been sitting out in this audience a couple different times… third time’s a charm, I guess.”
On June 25, pop-hip-hop hitmaker Flo Rida will play after the Braves/Mets tilt. The beefy performer, a ubiquitous Top 40 presence with songs such as "Right Round," "Low" and his current hit, "My House," will release his fifth studio album, "Dirty Mind," this spring.
And on Aug. 20, newcomer Tori Kelly, who also had a Grammy moment Monday night during her duet with James Bay (Kelly was nominated for best new artist, but lost to Meghan Trainor), will perform after the Braves play the Washington Nationals.
