The 14th season of Concerts in the Garden will welcome an "American Idol" and a country icon.

This year’s series – split between five shows on the Great Lawn at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and three at Ivester Amphitheater at the Gainesville location – also includes plenty of Americana and nostalgia.

Discount tickets for Garden members go on sale April 15 and tickets for the general public will go up April 22. Tickets can be purchased at www.concertsinthegarden.org and at Garden Admissions.

For all shows, gates open at 7 p.m. and concerts begin at 8 p.m. Seating is general admission (blankets and low-rise chairs are allowed).

In Atlanta:

  • Saturday, June 25 --  John Prine with special guest Amanda Shires
  • Friday, July 29 – k.d.lang/Neko Case/Laura Veirs
  • Saturday, July 30 – Phillip Phillips & Matt Nathanson with special guest A Great Big World
  • Friday, August 19 – Lyle Lovett & His Large Band
  • Additional show TBA

In Gainesville:

  • Saturday, June 18 – The Four Tops
  • Saturday, July 16 -- Indigo Girls
  • Saturday, August 13 – Loretta Lynn
