On Saturday, Navajo Joe, Forje and Bellwether Station will take the stage at the Hard Rock Café Atlanta for a benefit concert for the Thomas F. Chapman Family Cancer Wellness at Piedmont.

The concert, which begins at 7 p.m., is billed as Music for Marcy’s Mulligan, a tie-in with the May 9 Marcy’s Mulligan golf tournament in memory or Marcy Scott, who died of breast cancer in 2013.

Both events are hosted by Kaedy Kiely, morning drive host for 97.1 The River (disclosure: I do a weekly feature with Kiely on Wednesday mornings) and close friend of Scott, who was the promotions and marketing director at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The golf tournament and silent auction at Fairways of Canton will also raise money for the cancer wellness center at Piedmont, which provides complimentary cancer services and programs to anyone affected by cancer.

Doors for the Hard Rock concert open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Online ticket sales end at 4 p.m. Saturday.
