Alan Cumming will bring his cabaret show to Atlanta in 2017

The brilliant Alan Cumming will bring his concert show, “Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs,” to Atlanta Symphony Hall in 2017.

Cumming launched the show last year during a two-week run at New York’s Café Carlyle. It was such a hit that a tour ensued and Cumming returned to New York in February for a sold-out show – and his solo debut – at Carnegie Hall. February also saw the release of a live album taken from one of the Café Carlyle shows.

During his performances, the Tony-winning Broadway and TV star (we will always love you, Eli Gold), is joined by three musicians who roll with him through a selection of Broadway and pop songs that are meaningful to Cumming (Annie Lennox’s “Why” and Elaine Strich’s “Ladies Who Lunch,” from “Company,” are on the live album).
