Reports of an active shooting situation had Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on lockdown and personnel were directed to shelter in place, but the lockdown's been lifted.

Curiously enough the base was scheduled to conduct an exercise on dealing with this type of situation; some outlets have reported someone called to report what they thought was an actual incident.
