The gay couple in this Christmas ad isn't what caught my attention

Kohl's got lots of attention this holiday season for its commercial featuring a gay couple. (Video below) Props for the inclusive ad! But there's another headline..

This guy. Brought puppies. To someone's house at Christmas.

You said guests were welcome so I brought these puppies. Cool, right?

WHO does that?

Her outside voice: "Welcome! Merry Christmas!" Inside voice: "You seriously are bringing puppies in here."

Can anyone guess why this poor child is mopping on Christmas? I think I have an idea..

You know this conversation happened:

Him: "Yes they are ridiculously cute, but they just destroyed my shoe." Her: "Be nice. It's Christmas. We're just going to get through it, OK?"

WHERE IS THE OTHER ONE?

This was our Christmas Eve last year. We had dinner with our friends Mike & Vikki, on the far right, Will & Kerby, in the center, and Lynn-Anne, in between my husband Charlie and me. But alas, no one brought puppies.
