Steve Harvey  apologized after a massive Miss Universe mixup Sunday night.

He named Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez winner when  Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach actually won.

"I have to apologize," Harvey said after walking back onstage for the most painful moment on live TV ever.

It didn't help when Harvey tweeted an apology that called Miss Philippines by a book in the Bible and misspelled Colombia. He then apologized, deleted the tweet, and issued a new apology in a series of (correctly spelled) tweets.

While the gaffe inspired plenty of smack talk and a thousand memes, it also brought out a strong show of support.
