The Seattle Times issued a swift fix after posting a map of the South missing one big thing: Mississippi.
PAST: As if Atlanta traffic wasn't bad enough, now Alabama's making fun of us. ALABAMA.
Oklahoma television reporter Wendy Suares noticed the omission with a hurricane graphic and pointed it out via Twitter:
The Times was quick with the fix but people were quicker with the memes:
And TBH no one's real mad about it.
We all make mistakes, and journalists pointing this out out do so at the risk of angering the correction gods. It's a matter of time before I goof up.
