"Selma" producer and cast member Oprah Winfrey joined the movie's director and several stars for a special series of events in Selma, Ala. over the weekend.

Director Ava DuVernay; actor David Oyelowo, who played Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.; and Common and John Legend, whose ballad "Glory" won a best original song Golden Globe and is up for an Oscar in the same category, gathered for a screening at the Selma Walton Theater and a commemorative march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge.
