Marine Lance Cpl. Skip Wells comes home for the last time today.
The 21-year-old graduate of Sprayberry High School was one of four Marines killed in a terrorist's rampage on two military sites one week ago today. A sailor injured in the attacks died Saturday.

Hundreds of people gathered at Wells' alma mater for a memorial vigil on Tuesday.
Today, the City of Marietta, the Marietta Police Department, and the Marietta Fire Department are coordinating a public welcome as Wells' remains are brought home.
From a police department release:
"Lance Cpl. Skip Wells will be escorted via motorcade from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 1 p.m. and continue north along Interstate 75 towards Kennesaw. The Marietta Police Department will shut down a portion of the Canton Road Connector Bridge over Interstate 75, so that the City and citizens can gather on the roadway to pay their respects to Lance Corporal Wells and the other United States Marines and Navy Sailor who were killed in Chattanooga in the line of duty.
"Please join the City at 1 p.m. to pay our respects to Lance Cpl. Wells and his family as they travel along Interstate 75 by bringing your American flags and your thoughts and prayers for the family and friends of those who lost their lives.
"Citizens may access parking for this event by travelling I-75 southbound to exit 267A (Highway 5 North, Canton Road) and exit to the right at the over pass construction parking lot."

The Cobb County Schools District released details on the visitation and funeral services:
"Wells will be remembered at visitation services on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will take place at the Winkenhofer Funeral Home, located at 2950 Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw. Lance Cpl. Wells' funeral will be held Sunday, July 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Woodstock, located at 11905 Highway 92, Woodstock, 30188. It begins at 2:00 PM. Lance Cpl. Wells will be interred with military honors at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgins Drive, in Canton, 30114."
