A magazine has sort of apologized after "Scandal" star Kerry Washington said she was "taken aback" by the cover photo it ran of her.

Washington, who appears soon as Anita Hill in HBO's "Confirmation," which was filmed in Atlanta, said she was proud of the article that Adweek ran, and liked the inside photos. It was the overly doctored cover shot that bothered her. Here's an open message she posted on her public, official Facebook page:
