From the Hall County Sheriff's Department:
"Micah "Katt" Williams has been taken into custody at his residence as a result of warrants issued for his involvement in the incident that occurred in Gainesville last week with Luke Wash. Williams told TMZ that a racial slur prompted the scrape with the shopkeeper that led to his previous arrest , in February. More recently, he turned his row with the north Georgia teen into a comic bit at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn . It started the other day, after he joined a soccer game.
"He was saying (expletives) the whole time," Williams said of the 17-year-old, who he said he thought he was about 19, during his standup routine (which is profanity-riddled and NSFW but easily found on YouTube). "He talked (bleep) about me the whole game. My teammates are trying to let me know something ain’t right. He says some slick (bleep)."
Williams said he told the teen, "Hey, y’all know you can’t win this game?" and asked what all the smack talk was about. The teen was not intimidated, asking, "What are you gonna do about it?" Williams related.
"I said listen, you know I’m in trouble with the (bleepity bleep) law," Williams said. "Just understand I can take your ass around this (bleeping) corner. I will explain to you you don’t talk to grown men like this."
Williams said he was trying to teach the other guy a lesson although it's not clear what lessons he imparted. This video a bystander posted shows the teen quickly getting the upper hand on Williams before others broke up the ruckus:
Incidentally, Williams lit a cigarette on stage while relating his side of the story, a possible violation of Barclays Center policy. The site states, "Guests will not be permitted to smoke in the arena at any time. The immediate area around the arena is also a non-smoking campus."
