The city of Atlanta and the Regal Atlantic Station theater in particular have a big place in Cube's heart. He filmed "Ride Along" and "Ride Along 2" in Atlanta , and visited last year to promote "Straight Outta Compton." Although that movie was not filmed here, the Regal Atlantic Station was tops in the nation for debut-weekend ticket sales.

"Barbershop 3," also starring Common, Nicki Minaj,  Regina Hall, Anthony Anderson, Eve, JB Smoove, Lamorne Morris, Sean Patrick Thomas, Tyga and Deon Cole, is out April 15. Here is the trailer:

Others attending Thursday's premiere included R&B singer Demetria McKinney, celebrity stylists Derek J, Gocha Hawkins and Beautti J, and producer Kawan "KP" Prather.
