With his team about to take the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for first time, Arthur Blank was spending the final pre-game hours with family members, viewing the magnificent facility on a private tour.

While the $1.5 billion downtown structure is known as the home of the Atlanta Falcons and United (not to mention upcoming entertainment events, such as Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's sold-out October concert), it also houses an impressive collection of art.

A guide leading the Blanks on a tour gave pointers on pieces including "Executive Function (After Hillel)," an illuminated work created by American artist Michael Porten.

The enormous piece, located just inside the entrance where the 73,000 pound Falcon statue stands guard, is meant to evoke contemplation and "inspire viewers to commit to themselves without excluding others."

The maxim is a favorite of Blank's.

With the countdown to kickoff rapidly ticking, the Blanks' tour wrapped up with a stroll around the perimeter of the field.
