A few months ago, WSB reported, the popular Peachtree Street restaurant failed its health inspection with a score of 56 after officials discovered a slew of violations including "a reach-in cooler missing a door, some food inside was out of temperature, observed heavy debris on the can opener and heavy debris on ceilings and vents."

Staff members quickly addressed the issue and the restaurant earned a score of 90 after a follow-up check.

Knight personally visited the restaurant that bears her name while in Atlanta for a tour stop and spent time in the trenches, WSB reported this week. Customers should have no qualms about indulging in the restaurant's delectable menu of Southern favorites, she said.
