Donald Trump to discuss health in "Dr. Oz." interview

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump will discuss health matters with Dr. Oz this week, coincidentally coming days after rival Hillary Clinton's health became a campaign issue when she suddenly left a 9-11 service after becoming "overheated," according to her spokesman. Clinton has canceled plans to travel to California for fundraisers and an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show .

The interview airs Thursday; the show appears locally at 3 p.m. on Channel 2.

"In this hour long interview, Dr. Oz will ask the important questions that affect your health and the security of America," the show said in a statement. "He addresses why the health of the candidates has become such a serious issue in this campaign, plus Mr. Trump reveals his own personal health regimen."

His daughter Ivanka Trump will participate. The appearance was announced prior to Clinton's episode on Sunday, when social media buzzed with video clips of her stumbling and pitching forward as staff members helped her into a van. Her campaign later said she has pneumonia.

Naturally, the matter swiftly became political:
