Bobbi Kristina Brown faced an Alpharetta Municipal Court bench warrant stemming from failure to appear on a charge of driving with an expired tag registration but the Alpharetta authorities have dismissed the matter given her grim medical condition.

The bench warrant was issued following a court hearing to answer the charge two weeks ago, and she could have faced up to 72 hours behind bars.

The matter's been dropped, though.

"In light of recent events involving Mrs. Kristina Brown, we are not focused on the warrant issue," said George Gordon, Executive Officer/ public information officer for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. "In fact, we asked the court to dismiss the warrant and recall it, which they did. The important issue is we hope the grieving family and friends find comfort during this difficult period."

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive and face-down in a bathtub Jan. 31 and has been hospitalized ever since.
