Couple marries in North Georgia hospital ICU

A couple together more than a dozen years decided to officially become husband and wife after the groom's hospital stay. Hospital employees provided decorations, a cake - and lots of well wishes.

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper posted this sweet photo and this heartwarming message:

"Congratulations to Charlene and Richard, married just yesterday in Piedmont Mountainside Hospital's ICU! The happy couple has been together for 13 years and decided they wanted to be married before Richard leaves the hospital. Our team decorated the room, provided them with flowers, a guest book and cake to celebrate. Best wishes, you lovebirds!"
