The Kardashian patriarch once known as Bruce Jenner will be on the cover of the next Vanity Fair with a new identity: Caitlyn Jenner. (That's Caitlyn with a C, not a K, interestingly enough).

A message from Caitlyn's new Facebook page read, "Everybody has challenges in dealing with life. I’m so happy after such a long struggle and finally living my true self."

Buzz Bissinger's interview with Jenner  and Annie Leibovitz's photos are here.

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life,’ ” Jenner said.

“If I die, which, I could be diagnosed next week with cancer — and boom you’re gone,” Jenner said during the ABC interview. “I would be so mad at myself that I didn’t explore that side of me. You know? And I don’t want that to happen.”

At that time Jenner, still using masculine pronouns and going by Bruce, said he'd always be "Dad" to the Jenner-Kardashian kids, but was taking hormones and wearing a longer hairstyle in preparation for transitioning.

“Those things are all things that are out in the future for me to explore,” Jenner told Sawyer. “I just like blending in. That’s all I want to do is just blend in.”

Reaction to the Vanity Fair cover is pouring in:
