Members of Bobby Brown's family, presumably in town to offer support as Bobbi Kristina Brown's treatment continues, were involved in a little tussle at the Midtown W hotel, the Atlanta Police Department said.

Officers responded to a "fight call" at the hotel. Here's what we know so far, from an APD spokesman:

"One victim Shayne Brown was struck in the head with a bottle by suspect Tina Brown. Mr. Shayne Brown chose to drive himself to the hospital. Mrs. Tina Brown left the scene before police arrived. The motive of the fight is unclear at this time. Mr. Shayne Brown received lacerations to his head. A police report is being generated."

Bobby Brown issued a statement Thursday amid reports that the family was reportedly preparing for the worst: " "If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that's all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place."

However, one of Bobbi Kristina's cousins has said that her doctors "don't see any hope for change" and her grandmother, Whitney Houston's mom Cissy Houston, is headed to Atlanta.
