Actor Wendell Pierce, a star of HBO's "The Wire" and the Atlanta-filmed HBO movie "Confirmation," has lost his home in the ravaging Louisiana floods.

"I lost my house," he told TMZ during a brief interview at the Los Angeles airport. Understandably, he didn't much feel like talking. "It's private," he said.
