There’s a new spot to wind down with a glass of wine or pint of beer in Roswell.

"Sipping parlor" Pinkies Up, which opened at the end of July, celebrated its grand opening this past weekend, Scoop OTP reported.

The shop offers wine and beer by the glass, and also has a retail side featuring take-home growlers, bottles of wine and six-packs of beer. The beer list features a variety of local, domestic and international craft beers.

Pinkies Up is also developing software to help customers decide on a beer or wine based on their specific needs and tastes, and there are plans to offer wine and beer classes in the space.

While the spot doesn’t sell food, customers are encouraged to bring in their own food.

Pinkies Up is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Saturday.
