Wild Heaven Craft Beers , which began contract brewing in 2010 and signed a lease on a building on Maple Street in Avondale Estates in 2011, will finally unveil its new brewery and tasting room this weekend.

In addition to tours of the brewery and beer flowing from the taps, look for food for purchase from Pallookaville Fine Foods on Friday and D.B.A. Barbecue on Saturday.

Joining Wild Heaven's signature beers, Ode To Mercy, Invocation, Eschaton and Let There Be Light, brewmaster Eric Johnson recently created two new beers at the brewery.

White Blackbird is a Belgian-style saison with pink peppercorns and Korean pears marinated in Chardonnay with French oak.

Civilization is a big English-style barleywine with additions of dried Prussian lemons, tart cherries and cranberries.

Tickets $12.00 at wildheaven.xorbia.com. Limited to 21 or older on Friday and Saturday. On Family Day on Sunday, under 21 get in free (but can't drink beer, of course).
