The Shops Buckhead Atlanta will be home to a Greek restaurant by the end of the year.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that Kipos Hellenic Kitchen will take over the space left vacant by the January closure of American Food and Beverage . The spot, owned by Northh Carolina-based Giorgios Group, is set to open in September.
Kipos, which also has a location in Chapel Hill, N.C., offers up lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, as well as products from its bakery. The menu includes classic and modern dishes including souvlaki, ouzo-cured salmon, moussaka and shrimp and orzo.
The news comes after the announcement that Italian concept Taverna will replace the now-shuttered Thirteen Pies by the end of the year .
