Is The Shops Buckhead Atlanta development facing another restaurant closure?
Employees at pizza restaurant Thirteen Pies were reportedly told that the spot would close its doors "within the next 60 days," but the team behind the restaurant denies any decisions have been made.
"We believe very much in the Thirteen Pies brand and have not made any decisions to close the restaurant," Christine Magrann, executive officer for talent and operations at Raised Palate Restaurants, which owns and operates Thirteen Pies, said in an email statement.
Raised Palate also owned American Food and Beverage, which closed its doors in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta in January .
The development, which opened in September 2014 , has hit some bumps since , including postponing the opening of steakhouse American Cut , which was supposed to open in February.
In spite of some struggles, a dozen retail shops are set to open at Shops Buckhead this year .
