Beats and barbecue. 16 burgers. 10 days of peanut butter and jelly specials. There’s lots of food, fun and philanthropic events happening around town this weekend. Add one or all four of the following must-attend events to your calendar and be prepared to eat, drink and have a grand ole time. Thank goodness it’s Friday.

Limited-edition burgers: Beginning at 5 p.m. every Friday, Chef Christy Stone of South Main Kitchen will only make 16 of her signature inception burgers. Not for the faint of heart, the inception burger has ground beef and sausage wrapped around chicken, duck, sirloin, pulled pork, candied bacon, ham, turkey, parmesan and gouda cheeses. And, it's topped with a fried egg.

10 days of PB&J: Starting Friday, Oct. 16, over 40 metro Atlanta restaurants are serving new and nostalgic peanut butter and jelly-inspired dishes as part of PB&J for Good , a 10-day fundraiser benefiting Stop Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM). Special menu selections include a Thai-spiced ground short rib, brisket and chuck with peanut butter, bacon, pickled carrots and jalapeno on a Holeman & Finch bun at Bellwooods Social House ; a peanut butter milkshake at Farm Burger ; and a PB&J ice cream sandwich with peanut butter cookies and Concord grape sherbet at The Optimist . Barbecue and beats: Merge your love of music and a good meal at The Music Room where pitmaster and restauranteur Mike LaSage of Bone Lick BBQ has created a barbecue pop-up. The abbreviated menu offers favorites including Bone Lick's homemade pork rinds, the How Much for Just One Rib?, double dipped wings, pulled pork sandwiches, sloppy ho bahn mi, jalapeño mac, collards and more. The pop-up menu, which is available at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, is served at The Music Room below Pizzeria Vesuvius and the Edgewood Speakeasy at 327 Edgewood Ave. in Atlanta.

The whole hog: An afternoon pig buffet calls for well, a roasted pig, plus all the fixings: southern-style corn bread, mac 'n cheese, herb slaw, potato salad, desserts, ice tea and much more. The special menu, which is $40 per person, will be available from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at Ray's on the River .
