Add the following two events to your food and fun calendar for this weekend. Eat, drink and thank goodness it’s Friday.

Cue a concert: Ready for good food and rock 'n' roll? At 9 p.m. tonight, Cook Hall , the modern American gastropub located in the W Atlanta – Buckhead, will host Cary Hudson, lead singer and guitarist of Blue Mountain, a southern rock band. While Hudson strums his guitar to alternative country music, guests can savor snacks such as popcorn shrimp and pork belly pot stickers or sip specialty cocktails like the Solstice Shaken, a mix of Avua Cachaca, Dry Curacao, lime and orange amaro ciociaro. Admission is free and 3-hour complimentary parking will be provided.

Block party: Eat. Sip. Repeat. From 12-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, Table & Main , Osteria Mattone and Vin25 will team up to host a block party in Historic Roswell featuring food and drink specials, local brews, live music, patio games and more. Open to all, but an interest in having a good time is required.
