Say goodbye to burger-sushi fusion in Dunwoody.

The Cowfish Burger Sushi Bar closed suddenly yesterday at Perimeter Mall.

A sign on the restaurant’s door confirms the closure:

The Charlotte-based chain opened its sole metro  Atlanta location in 2016. It failed a health inspection earlier this year.

The menu featured "burgushi" -- a fusion of burger and sushi including sushi rolls created using burger components and pick-up style sandwiches created using sushi. The menu also offered traditional and fusion sushi rolls, craft burgers, sashimi, nigiri, bento boxes, appetizers, salads, handcrafted cocktails, craft beers, hand spun milkshakes and homemade desserts.

Cowfish has remaining locations in Birmingham, Raleigh, Orlando and Charlotte. The Perimeter location has been removed from the restaurant's website.

The AJC has reached out to representatives for the restaurant for more details.
