The Cockentrice , the new restaurant from chef Kevin Ouzts of the boutique charcuteri, the Spotted Trotter, will open for dinner on Friday.

Ouzts calls the concept a "New American Charcuterie," offering everything from meat and cheese to beer, wine, and cocktails on the menu. It will be the third full-service restaurant to open at Krog Street Market , after the Luminary and Craft Izakaya.

“To say that opening my first restaurant is a dream come true would be an understatement. This moment has been the ultimate goal since opening The Spotted Trotter in 2010, and I am beyond excited to finally show Atlanta who I am as a chef and not just as a charcutier,” Ouzts said today in a press release. “It has been an honor working with the employees, farmers, vendors, and other chefs who have made this opportunity possible, and I am looking forward to showcasing all of that passion on this new stage.”
