An Italian restaurant in Marietta is closing to make way for metro Atlanta's fourth Egg Harbor Cafe.
Tavola, which opened last year in the former Ritter's space at 4719 Lower Roswell Road in East Cobb, has been sold to Egg Harbor Cafe, which already has locations in Johns Creek, Sandy Springs and Midtown. The Schumacher Group represented both parties in the sale.
Tavola's menu featured Italian classics including caprese salad, a variety of pastas and seafoods, chicken, veal and eggplant parm, other chicken and veal dishes and a variety of pizzas.
Though the restaurant didn't address the closure on its website or Facebook page, the group East Cobb SNOBS said Tavoli closed for business yesterday.
